How do instruments make sound? Explore how sound is created with Associate Conductor Moon Doh and the Pittsburgh Symphony! Together we will learn how each instrument family creates its unique sound, how those sounds work together in an orchestra, and what role the conductor plays in bringing orchestral music to life.

About Schooltime

Join the Pittsburgh Symphony for curated music experiences that introduce students to the orchestra and nurture a love of music! Registration is free but required.

No physical tickets will be issued for Schooltime concerts. All groups will be checked in by a PSO staff member on the day of the concert and must be registered in advance to attend. All schools are responsible for securing transportation. Concerts are held during the school day.
