Apr 6, 2019 - Apr 6, 2019 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Fort Duquesne Boulevard & 8th Street
800 Fort Duquesne Boulevard

WPC provides many opportunities for people to make a positive difference through planting or maintaining trees along our streets, trails and in our parks. Volunteers plant trees alongside WPC staff and partners using the best forestry practices. Properly planted and maintained trees provide natural beauty environmental and economic benefits, and improved habitat for years to come.

Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and to dress for the weather. All plantings will be held rain, snow or shine. Tools, safety equipment and training will be provided for you. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one, there will be fresh water available on site.

Registration is required. Volunteers can register at https://waterlandlife.org/trees/volunteer-to-plant-a-tree/register-to-plant-trees/
