Mar 2, 2019 - Mar 2, 2019 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Fort Pitt Museum
601 Commonwealth Place
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Released in 1939, “Drums Along the Mohawk,” is a story about two newlyweds Gilbert (Henry Fonda) and Lana Martin (Claudette Colbert) who have settled in upstate New York. Their peaceful lifestyle is interrupted by the onset of the American Revolution, which brings attacks on their home by Loyalists and American Indians loyal to the British.

Prior to the showing, Fort Pitt Museum Director Alan Gutchess will briefly speak to moviegoers on separating fact from fiction. This will be the only showing of the movie, so don’t miss out on this chance to see director John Ford’s first film in color.

Parental Advisory: This movie was released prior to the movie rating system and is therefore not rated. Parents should be advised that the movie contains moderate violence and some nudity.
