  • Style Week returns to Pittsburgh with three events showcasing fashion and local creative talent. See The Style Awards hosted by KDKA’s Michelyn Hood, and The Business of Fashion Brunch featuring keynote speakers like Lesley Ware, Dr. Shellie Hipsky, and more. (Emerald City)
  • Catch live performances at The Backyard on 8th and Penn by Dan Bubien, Distelfink, Cameron Warren, and Sunflurry. Plus, shop the BOW by Kat fashion truck, participate in Swing Dancing with Chris Drum Dance Studio, Yoga, and enjoy a comedy show with Arcade Comedy. (The Backyard)
  • Fresh Nostalgia Boutique is hosting a Jeanette Kirsch pop-up in their shop for a weekend of mimosas, vintage clothing, and more! Shop a collection of vintage clothing, couture, shoes, and accessories. (Fresh Nostalgia Boutique)
  • Try someplace new during Pittsburgh Restaurant Week! Treat yourself to dinner Downtown during Restaurant Week!   • See pop singer Lauv perform his multi-platinum hit at Stage AE on the All 4 Nothing Tour with special guests Hayley Kiyoko and Aidan Bissett. (Stage AE)
  • Stop by the Saturday Night Market featuring Pittsburgh’s most creative independent vendors. This week, enjoy shopping from local favorites and the sounds of Rock, Reggae, & Relief. (Market Square)
  • The Pittsburgh Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival returns to the Rivers Casino with premium distilled spirits including whiskey, scotch, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, cordials, and handcrafted cocktails. (Rivers Casino)
  • It’s time for messy science! End the summer by spending a day at the Carnegie Science Center’s MessFest where little ones can enjoy hands-on, interactive experiments. Make bubbles longer than a car, drop an egg 16 feet, extract DNA from strawberries, make super soaker graffiti, and much more! (Carnegie Science Center)
  • It’s tailgate season! Check out the Tailgate Zone outside of Highmark Stadium before the Riverhounds take on the New York Red Bulls II. Find music from Soulful Femme, the Benvenuti’s Pizza and BRGR food trucks, and more! (Highmark Stadium)
  • Feel like a kid again and explore the National Aviary as an adult at the National Aviary Behind-the-Scenes Camp. See how the aviary staff cares for more than 500 birds, help prepare food for the flock and get up close with animal ambassadors. (National Aviary)
  • Calling all Yinzers! The Yinzer 4.12K and Lil’ Yinzer Fun Run are back on the North Shore! Enjoy food trucks, hear live music, and cheer on participants. (North Shore)
  • Throw out the pallino and throw down for a great cause! The 11th Annual Bocce Tournament and Festival is moving to Acrisure Stadium. See performances by The Aces with Shari Richards, The New Pure Gold, and The Jaggerz. The event and entertainment are free to watch. (Acrisure Stadium, South Endzone Gate A)
  • It’s firework night at PNC Park! See the postgame Skyblast Fireworks Extravaganza, with Zambelli fireworks that will light up all of Pittsburgh from several locations including the Allegheny River, PNC Park roof, and more! (PNC Park)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 21

  • Relax and unwind with a session of Yoga in the Square. This week’s class is taught by Ashley Koltonski from Union Fitness. The class is free, but don’t forget your mat! (Market Square)
  • Find your groove with Dancing in the Square! This free, weekly class taught by Los Sobrosos will introduce you to new and traditional styles of dance. Come with a partner or go solo! (Market Square)
  • After working up an appetite at yoga or dancing, refuel at one of Downtown’s many coffee shops, like Adda, where you can find a full coffee and tea menu, pastries, and a selection of locally made crafts. (Around Downtown)
  • The Trolls & Pup Patrol Cruise is back! All aboard the Gateway Clipper- meet your favorite characters from TV including Chase, Marshall, Skye, Poppy, and Branch. And enjoy a one-of-a-kind dance party while sailing the three rivers! (Gateway Clipper)
