Opening Night at the AO was a Huge Success!

Last night, the opening night of the Allegheny Overlook, a brand new pop-up park along Ft. Duquesne Boulevard, was a huge success!

We heard Jim Donovan & Sun King Warriors’ blend of rhythm-heavy roots rock, enjoyed delicious food from the Good Eats Truck and Global Food Truck, played outdoor games, and danced the night away along the gorgeous Allegheny river.

Experience the fun again tonight beginning at 5 p.m. Listen and sing to Bindley Hardware Co. as they perform live on the AO stage. Enjoy their mix of alt-country and heartland rock, with back-to-basics simplicity and grit. And tomorrow, see Jordan Montgomery take the stage with local hip-hop!

In addition to live entertainment, munch on food items like chicken tenders, fries and spinach pie from the Good Eats food Truck or Pad Thai and Korean BBQ from the Global Food Truck. Don’t forget drinks from Brew Gentlemen as they serve up Red Wine Sangria, Citrus Radler, and more.

Next, play your favorite backyard games like Corn Hole, Ping-Pong Badminton, and Giant Jenga, and end the evening with a photo-op of the stunning Allegheny River.
