Planning the Perfect Office Happy Hour

It’s Thursday, your team just finished that big project, all is right with the world, and now you want to celebrate. But planning the perfect get-together can seem like another daunting task before you ever get to relax. 1. Set the date

No one wants to shuffle around schedules last minute or be that person that has to no-show. Pick a date about a week or two in advance that’s mindful of people’s schedules and send it out.

2. Pick somewhere close

The best happy hours don’t require your team to leave the office, then jump in a car, then drive 20 minutes only to reconvene at some chain restaurant where you’ll be stuck in a booth or at a crowded bar.

3. Plan some structure
