Out and About: Eddie V’s

The PDP staff was lucky enough to recently catch a glimpse at the latest iteration from Darden Restaurants in Pittsburgh: Eddie V’s. Eddie V’s – opening Monday, March 6! – is a fine dining restaurant specializing in seasonal prime seafood and located in the Union Trust Building.

While enjoying a happy hour – complete with an impressively long list of wine choices – we got to experience first-hand the delicious array of seafood Eddie V’s chefs specialize in serving. We tried the filet mignon sliders, crab and shrimp wontons, and mushroom and arugula bites, and nothing disappointed.

The exceptionally friendly service and wine and food selections paired with jazz musicians playing live just a few feet away (a nightly treat for those dining) made for a great evening; it was the perfect way to unwind after a work day. For any special occasion – or simply for an excuse to treat yourself to an evening of great food, great company, and great music – we highly recommend you check out this brand new spot.
