Night Market + Gallery Crawl

Monday, April 23, 2018

Spring is finally upon us! And that means the Night Market is back. Join us on Friday, April 27 for a special night of art, jewelry, photography, games, food, music, and more. Catch live entertainment courtesy of The Funhouse at Mr Smalls! This market will feature Ben Shannon MusicJeremy Caywood, and Amy Mmhmm.

For more information on our Night Market, including our expansion of the season, click here.

This Night Market is a stop on The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Gallery Crawl, which features free admission to a wide variety of galleries and unique spaces presenting exhibits. The Gallery Crawl showcases Downtown’s dynamic art and entertainment scene. Dozens of galleries, stages, storefronts, and unique public spaces dot each installment’s 14-block map of destinations.

And be sure to stop by 813 Liberty Avenue that same evening to see the latest installation from Wahila Creative – past Betaburgh recipients! Interactive light cubes are semi opaque, plastic blocks filled with LED lights. When idle, they display a color-changing pattern. In a group, they perform a pre-defined “dance” of color. Their color and patterns can be remotely controlled via wi-fi. The cubes will be turned on around 7:00 p.m. and will be kept on intermittently in that space through June. Learn more about Wahila Creative here.
