New Years Activities in Downtown

Celebrate 2017 and ring in 2018 with us in Downtown Pittsburgh – we have so much for you to do! Here are a few of our favorite ways Pittsburghers will be counting down to 2018.

New Year’s Eve events:

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns
at Heinz Field. Kick-off at at 1:00 p.m.

Dinner on the Gateway Clipper
Begin your New Year’s Eve Celebration aboard a grand riverboat for a fabulous dinner. DJ entertainment, a delicious buffet, champagne, and the beautiful sights of the city make for a perfect end to 2017.

Or, The Whale
Experience a five-course dinner paired with Sommelier select wines in the main dining room with the warm ambiance of a 36-foot woodfire grill.

Miracle on Market
Hold on to the last bit of Christmas cheer with tasty themed cocktails, ugly sweaters, and yuletide fun at the last day of Miracle’s pop up bar! Open 4:00 p.m. to midnight.

Il Tetto
Unique crafted New Year’s cocktails, hor d’oeurves buffet, and a champagne toast at midnight – all in a glass-enclosed rooftop – will make your first memories of 2018 sparkle. From 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Tequila Cowboy Black and Gold Party
As we get ready to end another successful Steelers season, celebrate New Year’s Eve in Black and Gold with live music, karaoke, bull rides, and an epic video countdown!

Howl at the Moon
Kiss 2017 goodbye and start the New Year having a blast! Fabulous NYE party packages and drink specials will make the end to 2017 unforgettable.

MessFest2018
at the Carnegie Science Center. MessFest is a unique Science Center tradition. Get slimy, ucky, ooey, and gooey as you learn about totally messy science!

PPG Place Ice Skating
Enjoy the new year as you glide around the breathtaking 65′ Christmas tree. Open on New Year’s Day from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Spirits of Giving Around the World
This enchanting display of life-size Santas and original paintings captures a whole world of folklore and fantasy. Open on New Year’s Day from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
