MAKESHOP at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh

Thursday, April 13, 2017

This weekend, join the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh for two different hands-on programs that focus on pixels and repetition!

On Friday, April 14, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., the museum will present MAKESHOP: Stop Motion. Make your own short movie with our stop-motion animation station! Discover how many patterns, pictures, and interesting movements you can create using only black and white squares, or other small, found objects.

Then, on Sunday, April 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., learn about cross stitching to create a larger image or pattern through a series of X’s sewn side by side. For more information about MAKESHOP and this weekend’s events, visit the website here.
