Better yet, there’ll be live music by local artists during lunch hours, making it the perfect place for a midday break.

Located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, this historic urban park has served as a vibrant oasis for residents and visitors alike. Designed by landscape architect James C. Rose and architect John C. Pekruhn, Mellon Square is often hailed as one of the first modern garden plazas in the United States. Its innovative design, featuring geometric patterns, cascading fountains, and lush greenery, provides a tranquil escape amidst the bustling cityscape. The square is a focal point for various events, gatherings, and leisure activities, contributing to Downtown’s vibrant cultural scene.
