Downtown will be bustling with festivals this weekend!

Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival
Friday, April 6 – Sunday, April 8
David L. Lawrence Convention Center

Knit, crochet, quilt, and create! The Creative Arts Festival will feature workshops, exhibitors, and special events. Throughout the weekend, meet fellow members of the creative arts community and explore any creative art of your choosing. It will also include sixty five exclusive classes with some of the community’s most talented artists. Tekko

Tekko, formerly Tekkoshocon. is an annual Japanese Pop Culture convention, currently in its 16th year. Tekko is presented by the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society and hosts dozens of events featuring gaming, expert panels, fashion, and more. Learn more about the convention here

Pittsburgh Fringe Festival
Friday, April 6 – Sunday, April 8
Northside

An all-out, no-holds-barred, inclusive multi-disciplinary visual and performing arts festival featuring international, national and local artists. Enjoy over twenty different shows across the festival’s three day run. SPARK: Igniting the Future of Small Musicals

An inaugural festival of new small-cast musicals. SPARK is designed to cultivate new and innovative work from emerging and established musical theater artists. During SPARK, 10 new works will be seen in various stages of development via readings, staged readings, and workshop productions.
