Celebrate Pride in Pittsburgh this month with online events and activities! While Pittsburgh Pride 2020 has been postponed, there are still many ways you can celebrate.
Thursday, June 11, at 7:00 p.m., learn about the history of Stonewall during a national webinar hosted by the Heinz History Center.
The webinar features Katherine Ott, the curator and historian behind Illegal to Be You: Gay History Beyond Stonewall, an exhibit currently on view at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
You can also participate in the virtual Stride for Pride 5K run this weekend, anytime between Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14. During your virtual run, connect on social media with the hashtag #StrideforPride5K.
Registration price is $12 and ends June 13, at 11:59 p.m. A portion of the money made from the registration fee will go towards benefitting SisTers PGH. All virtual participants will receive a virtual swag bag with codes and coupons.
