This Unique Outdoor Oasis Provides Perfect Place for Work & Play in Heart of Downtown PGH

Back by popular demand, the free outdoor workspaces and a beer garden are now open at the U.S. Steel Plaza at 600 Grant Street.

Take a break from the office and work outdoors at the Office Retreat at U.S. Steel Plaza! This Downtown locale provides a unique outdoor experience for individuals and businesses to hold collaborative team meetings, host an office lunch, or simply work outside while enjoying the warmer weather.

Reservations for the three uniquely named Florence, Eames and Saarinen workspaces can be made for free through our online booking system. Open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. Early booking for your meeting or business gathering highly recommended. Spaces may be booked for up to four hours at a time. 

Happy hour made easy at BG’s Downtown Beer Garden – right next to the Office Retreat!

Braddock-based Brew Gentlemen is once again be serving craft beers from their pop-up BG Downtown Beer Garden Tuesday – Friday, from 3–7 p.m. throughout the summer. There will be a consistent lineup of live music on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays that includes a variety of genres, from pop rock to jazz; for performance schedules, go to www.ussteeltower.com. Games will also be available in the Plaza all season long, such as corn hole, golf putting, connect four and more. Those with meetings in the Office Retreat can stop after work by for a refreshing brew, as this venue is open to all workers, residents and visitors who want to meet-up, reconnect or simply enjoy a drink outdoors.
