Knotzland at Larrimor’s

Monday, April 9, 2018

Downtown just got a whole lot more stylish! Larrimor’s (249 Fifth Avenue) has started carrying locally produced bow ties by Knotzland. Created by Nisha Blackwell, Knotzland takes the best in textile waste and reuses it to create stylish accessories that everyone loves: bow ties. In doing this, they are vastly reducing the disposal of fabrics that may otherwise be deemed unusable and ultimately end up laying around and polluting our environment.

The coolest part about Knotzland? They are made right here in Pittsburgh and the company employs and trains women from the community, encouraging others to develop their entrepreneurship skills. Knotzland is also part of the local maker’s collective, Monmade.

So stop by Larrimor’s and pick up a fashion-forward Knotzland bow tie. You won’t just be supporting one local business, you’ll be supporting two!
