This Friday, October 18, join Point Park University from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for a TEDx presentation that focuses on those people, places, and things that have found ways to evolve in meaningful and innovative ways.
Since it was first settled in 1764 as a prime transportation gateway with its three rivers, Pittsburgh has seen many faces as it has aged over the last 255 years. As Pittsburgh continues to age, doing so gracefully and with thoughtful strategies on addressing the City’s diverse needs will be key to achieving growth.
Speakers include Laura Poskin, the Director of Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh; Martha Rial, a photographer and educator; and Richard Piacentini, the President and CEO of Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
Tickets are $10, and presentations will be taking place in Point Park University’s new Pittsburgh Playhouse. Learn more.
