This Monday, September 2, thousands of Pittsburghers and groups from around the country will make their way through Downtown in the largest participant Labor Day Parade in the country.
Kicking off at 10:00 a.m. at PPG Paints Arena, the Parade, hosted by the Allegheny County Labor Council, will make its way through Downtown via Grant Street and the Boulevard of the Allies before finishing at the United Steelworkers Building.
There will be plenty of great viewing opportunities along both Grant Street and the Boulevard of the Allies.
Looking for things to do after the parade? Hop on the T for free and use light rail to head over to Heinz Field for the final day of the Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Festival. See all of what’s happening in Downtown here.
Drivers should be aware of closures in Downtown to occur along the parade route. Check the status of parking garages close to the route at ParkPGH.org. Port Authority bus and light rail service will be operating on a Sunday schedule due to the holiday, and the Downtown Service Center will be closed.
