Meet Anna Wolf, Associate Manager of Special Events. As a past Marketing and Special Events intern, Anna rejoined the PDP alongside the Events Department. She assists in the execution, oversight and planning of recurring and one-off special events around Downtown Pittsburgh, and provides support for major events such as Light Up Night and Picklesburgh.

During my undergraduate degree, I was first introduced to the PDP. Shortly after discovering the organization, I was hired on as an intern. What drew me to the organization back then is still the same today: the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated and dynamic team that is determined to create a positive impact in the community.
My daily routine revolves around planning, strategizing, and executing exceptional events in Downtown, but no two days are exactly alike. Whether I’m communicating with incredible local vendors for markets or helping to bring to life a festival around pickles in Downtown, I relish (pun intended) the fact that each day brings new ideas and excitement.
I’m most excited about all of the events that we are planning for the community. I love being a part of creating something that brings joy to others.
All of my co-workers. Everyone is so passionate about what they do and it’s hard not to feel inspired when you are working with such a dedicated group of individuals.
I’m a big lover of the arts and really enjoy attending shows at the Benedum.
It’s so hard to pick just one! Currently, I’ve been loving The Warren.
Success isn’t about how your life looks to others. It’s about how it feels to you. -Michelle Obama
Three things that most people don’t know about me would be, I’m currently into photography specifically film photography, I love camping with my fiance and dog, and I can twirl fire.
If I were to offer advice to someone new to Pittsburgh, I would suggest taking the time to fully immerse themselves in all that the city has to offer. Dine out at some of the lesser-known restaurants, catch a performance in the Cultural District, or check out the local small businesses. Pittsburgh is teeming with hidden gems just waiting to be discovered.
