Out and About: Cafe 808

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. And I think that’s what you’ll find at the brand new Cafe 808: incredible coffee, delicious food, great prices, and some of the friendliest service in Pittsburgh.

Dave, Cafe 808’s leading man, owned the renowned Italian Bread Company in Green Tree for fourteen years and he brought those beloved recipes and more to Downtown at 808 Penn Ave. He and his daughter Krista, along with an extremely cheery staff, serve up some of the best homemade macaroni salad, wedding soup, and lightest and fluffiest pastries I’ve ever tasted. And they make a fantastic latte.

I highly recommend you check out Cafe 808 for breakfast, lunch, or just a pick-me-up. You may find your new happy place.
