New Retailer in ‘Tahn

Wednesday, July 20, 2022

A new neighbor has joined Downtown, leaving residents and workers excited with what they have to offer. From groceries, college supplies, and household items, Target is the perfect place to shop.

The well-known store has opened a 22,000 sq. foot Downtown location at 482 Smithfield Street — the first floor of the Kaufmann’s building.

Although a smaller urban-sized store, this location allows residents and workers to purchase products that were once not available at any other Downtown store.

People from all over are raving about the new addition to Downtown. Their soft opening on Tuesday, July 12 included various individuals eager to enter and begin shopping. The store is officially open to the public as of Sunday, July 17.

A CVS Pharmacy is also settling inside Target for customers to find all their pharmaceutical needs.

Store Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 7p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Drive-up and Order Pickup are also available to shoppers. A parking garage sits below the building with two elevators for easy access. Use your Target receipt to receive validated parking upon exit.
