This special student-led event kicks off the Month of Non-Violence in Pittsburgh schools in Market Square this Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 3:00–5:30 p.m. Throughout the Month of Non-Violence, students will voice their commitment to changing the negative narrative involving youth violence and sign the Safe Summer Pledge.
The Month of Non-Violence Kickoff event invites students to enjoy a DJ, free food, activities, and resource fair. Kona Ice will also
be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Month of Non-Violence activities.
Month of non-violence is an effort of the coalition for Downtown Safety.
