Light Up Night® Returns for Its 60th Anniversary with New Day, New Sponsor, and New Logo

The official kickoff to the holiday season in Pittsburgh is back on a new day! Light Up Night is returning in 2021, moving from the Friday before Thanksgiving to Saturday, November 20 as a part of a larger 60th Anniversary refresh for the beloved celebration.

The refresh includes a release of the new Light Up Night logo, featuring Highmark, the new presenting sponsor for the annual celebration.

While more detailed specifics on Highmark Light Up Night activities and additional holiday attractions have yet to be announced, virtually every building in Pittsburgh’s dramatic skyline will be illuminated, providing a vibrant backdrop for a fun-filled evening of holiday festivities that include tree lightings, live music, craft foods, shopping, music, and of course, a spectacular fireworks finale from Zambelli Internationale.
