Highmark Blues & Heritage Festival

Join the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, at the 2019 Highmark Blues and Heritage Festival.

Kick-off the weekend with the Taste of Blues Party on Friday, September 20: throughout the event, local restaurants will be serving BBQ samplings of their best dishes. While sampling food, enjoy fantastic performances from local and nationally recognized blues musicians.

On Saturday, enjoy free performances from Alton Merrell, Jimmy Adler, Soulful Femme, Kate’s Soulfood, Cash Box Kings, Soul Rebels Brass Band, Kingfish and Third World. Plus, purchase tickets for an exceptional performance from Grammy Award-winner CeCe Winans. Winans is the best-selling female gospel artist of all time and has sold over 12 million records worldwide.
