Cancelled – Fright Up Night – October 27

Due to the tragic situation in Squirrel Hill today, all Market Square Fright Up Night activities and Night Market have been cancelled for tonight. We are heartbroken by this horrific event and we stand firmly with our community during this awful time.

Party like a zombie this Saturday at Downtown’s second annual spine-tingling Fright Up Night. Presented by the Pittsburgh DowntownPartnership, in partnership with The ScareHouse, Fright Up Night will leave the Golden Triangle crawling with creepy creative cocktails, cuisine, and creatures of the night.

The event is centered around Zombie Wrestling and the final Saturday Night Market in Market Square, but there are plenty of partners offering chilling activities throughout the evening! Learn more about all partneractivities below and at frightupnight.com.

Have you ever seen one zombie put another into a Full Nelson? Hopefully no one will lose their head during the craziest undead wrestling you can imagine. With two back-to-back matches at the top of every hour, patrons can root for their favorite blood-thirsty brain-eaters as they face off. Presented in partnership with Stronghold Entertainment/Ryse Wrestling. A limited number of VIP tickets are available. Get yours today!

Also, join in the final Saturday Night Market of the season featuring handmade and artisan products. The Pittsburgh City Paper Stage will feature a DJ spinning monster hits live from the crypt.

And zombies may be closing in, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for a drink. Visit Zombie Den: Bar of the Dead in Market Square, a unique pop-up bar in Downtown that pays homage to George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead.”
