Out and About: Fort Pitt Coffee

Monday, February 27, 2017

Downtown Pittsburgh has a great variety of shops and restaurants, and I would like to welcome Fort Pitt Coffee into the fold. Fort Pitt Coffee popped up about a month ago at Fort Pitt Boulevard and Market Street, a quaint little shop with white-washed walls and a modern design. They have a variety of options of all types of brewed and espresso drinks, as well as great grab and go snacks like Greek yogurt parfaits and pretzels from the South Side Pretzel Shop.

With the sun shining in through their large windows, I opted for a cozy chair and an almond milk latte. Simple, but delicious. Their quality and variety of treats rival some of the better-known coffee shops in the Golden Triangle, but the prices are very reasonable. As they get up and running, they also hope to offer more meal and snack options.

It may be a bit of a walk from our offices in the Cultural District, but is definitely a place to relax and get a respite from the high energy of Downtown Pittsburgh. Be sure to check them out. For more information, visit them on Facebook.
