First Project Pop-Up Store Opens in Downtown

Join us in celebrating eco-conscious shopping and reducing your environmental footprint at The Refillery’s new Downtown location!

We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Refillery’s new pop-up storefront in the ground level of Encore Apartments at 100 7th Street, made possible through the PDP’s Project Pop-Up program. We invite the public to join us in welcoming The Refillery to Downtown with a grand opening event on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

This is the second stand-alone retail location in Pittsburgh for The Refillery, a sustainable and eco-conscious store that allows customers to bring clean containers from home to refill with personal care and home essentials. Their extensive selection includes refills such as hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, as well as shampoos, conditioner, and other items.

“We’re excited to welcome The Refillery as our first Project Pop-Up location,” said Cate Irvin, Director of Economic Development for the PDP. “Through this initiative, our goal is to bring innovative small businesses to our neighborhood, and I’m confident they’ll enrich our growing community.”

Schedule of Events:

• All Day: Meet the Makers – mingle with local artisans behind The Refillery.
• 9 am: Gift bags for the first 15 people.
• 10 am: Ribbon cutting ceremony.
• Noon-2 pm: Tarot Readings by Sabrina Spells & Crystals.
• 2 pm: Door Prizes (winners drawn at 3 pm).
• 3 pm: Champagne Toast (21+).
• Food & Drink Offerings:
  Morning: Coffee by De Fer and sweets by La Gourmandine
  Afternoon: Food and drink samplings by The Kitchen @ Today’s Organic Market
