Join us in the Theater for yoga postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities with Open Up Pittsburgh. These 15 minute sessions are centered around bringing levity and joy to exercises that focus on wellness with movement and breath. Our teachers can adapt or support depending on individual needs. Please let us know how you, or someone who is joining you can best experience the class.
If someone is accompanying you for support (ally/caregiver/friend) they must remain for class and are encouraged to participate. Note: You will need a mat to participate. If you do not have access to one, it can be provided. Participants of all abilities are welcome! Stay for one session or all three!
2:00 - 2:15 Yoga Wiggles: Fun, energetic yoga flows to get the wiggles out and to practice moving mindfully.
2:20 - 2:40 Yoga Games: Accessible yoga poses taught through improvisational social games and interactive movement.
2:45 - 3:00 Yoga Calm Down: Breath practice and relaxation techniques with joyful, guided meditation.
