Hop Into History: Master Artists

Feb 12, 2020 - Feb 12, 2020 | 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Heinz History Center
1212 Smallman Street
Pittsburgh, Pa 15222

Pittsburgh is home to many different types of artists. Explore the History Center’s new Master Visual Artists exhibition and try out their styles. Make a sculpture out of 3D shapes, play with clay, and make your own watercolor masterpiece to take home.

Hop into a fun exploration of the past as we play and explore together in this hands-on session designed for 2 – 5 year olds and their caregivers. Young kids will be transported back in time through music, dance, and games. These fun and lively sessions will be led by museum educators and music instructor Lynda Wingerd.

Hop Into History is free for kids five and under. Adults must pay regular museum admission, which is good all day.

Please register in advance because space is limited. Register online.

Please enter the name of each child as a separate guest (click ‘Add Child(ren)’) so that we can print name tags.

If you are a member, or join as a member so that you can attend the sessions, please enter the membership code: MEMBERHOP to receive the membership discount. You will be asked to present proof of your membership at check-in.
