"Why Beethoven, Why?"

An evening of surprising discoveries from artists who broke the mold

THE PROGRAM
For just $35, join us for a casual evening of entertainment, discovery and drinks featuring live performances by Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra members. Your ticket includes one drink ticket and complimentary parking.

Kick-off Beethoven's 250th birthday year by exploring how Beethoven revolutionized music. Performances will feature a sampling of Beethoven masterpieces while we explore surprising connections between Andy Warhol and Beethoven, including:

· How is Beethoven's earliest "teacher" (a.k.a. Bach) linked to 117 Sandusky Street (a.k.a. The Andy Warhol Museum)?
· What shameful acts did both Beethoven and Warhol do in their 20s?
· What roles did the city of Cologne play in both Beethoven's and Warhol's art?

The Andy Warhol Museum (117 Sandusky St., North Shore)
