The Andy Warhol Museum opened its doors to the public on May 13, 1994 as a collaboration between The Carnegie Institute, The Dia Art Foundation, and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Over the past 25 years, The Warhol has become a global destination for Andy Warhol’s life, art, and relevance to contemporary culture. With access to the collection and engaging experiences, the museum has become a platform for creative expression and a model for inclusivity.
In honor of its 25th Anniversary, The Andy Warhol Museum kicks off its celebrations with a gala event on October 19, 2019. The anniversary celebration also includes the opening of a special exhibition, Andy Warhol: Revelation, a contemporary art auction, late night dance party with guest DJ, and a free community day on Sunday October, 20th.
