Heroineburgh Customfest

What is a 'custom'? In the independent video industry, it's a production funded and co-written by a loyal devotee of an actor or a franchise: essentially visual fan-fiction. Heroineburgh, the Pittsburgh-based superheroine TV series, already has 4 comic books and 3 seasons of full-length live-action episodes under its belt. But on the side, the production has also released many custom 'minisodes' of shorter length with fan-created and character-specific scenarios that do not necessarily function as 'canon' in the larger Heroineburgh universe, and 11 of those customs will be shown in this presentation. Follow the adventures of talented local actresses Christina, Mary Beth, Erika, Bridget, Diana and Alicia and their capable supporting cast through all of the powers, perils, special effects, and lots of spandex costumes and capes. Superheroines assemble!
