Join Executive Vice President and COO of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Marty Bates and an ensemble of Symphony musicians at the historic Teutonia Männerchor in the Deutschtown neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Hear how a European composer living in America comes to understand the sound of America, and hear how uniquely American experiences shape the sounds of American composers. Featured musicians include: Dylan Naroff, violin; Shannon Fitzhenry, violin; Sean Juhl, viola; and Karissa Shivone, cello.
