Student Division Auditions - 2019/2020 School Year

In the PBT School Student Division, dancers are challenged to strengthen their ballet technique while learning ballet repertoire and other dance disciplines such as modern, character and jazz. Student Division dancers perform in the school’s annual Spring Performance, which reflects the student body’s journey from Pre-ballet to Pre-Professional training. There are also performance opportunities in main-stage performances at the Benedum Center, such as the company’s annual production of The Nutcracker! All Student Division classes are taught by esteemed faculty in PBT’s state-of-the-art studios and accompanied by live music.

The audition fee is $10. Pre-registration is now available. Audition pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

Minimum one year prior ballet training required.

August 1 Audition Schedule:

4:30 p.m. – Check In / Registration

5 – 6 p.m. – Audition for girls age 8-10

5 – 6 p.m. – Audition for girls age 11-13

5 – 6 p.m. – Audition for boys age 8-13
