Heinz History Center
1212 Smallman Street
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Students compete individually or as part of a small group in one of five history-focused categories, including documentaries, exhibits, historical papers, performances, and websites. The competition is divided into two divisions:

  • The Junior Division (grades 6-8) will compete on Saturday, March 30. Judging begins at 8 a.m., and the awards ceremony will take place at approximately 2:30 p.m.
  • The Senior Division (grades 9-12) will compete on Sunday, March 31. Judging begins at 9 a.m., and the awards ceremony will take place at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Projects will be on view to the public beginning at 1 p.m. both days.
