Black History Month: Special Presentations

In celebration of Black History Month, please join us for two special presentations given by Marlene Bransom, President of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, and Robert Goode, former Sr. Vice President of Mellon Bank, and the son and nephew of two famous Pittsburgh broadcasters. Mrs. Bransom will give a presentation on beginning genealogy research, and Mr. Goode will give a talk about his family, and how they fit into the fabric of The Great Migration. The program is done in conjunction with the Dr. Edna B. McKenzie Branch, Association for the Study of African American Life and History and the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society.
