The Pittsburgh Poetry Collective is proud to present our annual slam competition to select the spoken word poet to represent the city of Pittsburgh at the Individual World Poetry Slam 2018, in San Diego California!

Spoken Word Poets will compete in 3 rounds of slam with 3 different time limits (4 minutes, 1 minute and 2 minutes), using their own original work, with no props, no costumes, and no musical accompaniment to assist them.

The winner will represent Pittsburgh at an international competition featuring 95 other poets from all over the world!
