Caruso’s latest commission in collaboration with the world famous cardiac surgeon, Dr. Gerald Buckberg, explores the evolution of the heart from animal to human and the value of this fascinating discovery on modern medicine. Hailed as an choreographer whose specialty is the interface of dance and narrative with medical and scientific discovery, this new ballet will not only be performed in Pittsburgh, but it will be presented as a full length movie documentary to share with the world.
