Pittsburgh Improv Jam

The Pittsburgh Improv Jam is a weekly comedy show hosted by City Paper “Best Local Comedy Troupe” 2017 honorees Well Known Strangers.

What is an Improv Jam? Experienced improvisers, eager beginners, and brave first-timers are placed on teams together to create improvised comedic scenes based on audience suggestions. You never know who's going to come play at Pittsburgh Improv Jam; previous guest performers include TLC's Paige Davis and the Second City Tour Company. Every Pittsburgh Improv Jam begins with a featured performance by Well Known Strangers or other local and touring comedy acts.

Don’t want to perform? Don’t sweat it! Audience tickets are only $3 cash the door or free with a downtown ticket stub from earlier that evening. The Backstage Bar serves drinks for improvisers and audience all night (Happy Hour til 11pm) and the show starts at 10pm.
