Beginning with a reading from her graphic novel, The Oven, Sophie Goldstein will lay out her method for creating the book beginning with inspiration and concept and ending with the final cover design for the printed edition. Attendees will get to view original artwork and sketches as well as see a sneak preview of her upcoming graphic novel, coming out from Fantagraphics Books this fall, House of Women.
