Rooftop Shindigs are back from the dead…

On a September evening, the rooftop of the Theater Square Garage in Downtown Pittsburgh will be crawling with “live” zombies under the glow of the George Romero classic, Night of the Living Dead.

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and The ScareHouse are teaming up with Pittsburgh Filmmakers to present a special edition of PDP’s popular Rooftop Shindig series.

On Tuesday, September 11 (rain date September 12), PDP, The ScareHouse and Pittsburgh Filmmakers are teaming up to present  a free evening featuring the classic film, zombie themed food, adult beverages and games, live music from Devin Moses & “The Undead” along with special discounts on ScareHouse tickets.

The fun begins at 5:30 p.m., entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will be shown after dark . Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating though a limited number of stadium chairs will be available for purchase.

This Rooftop Shindig is made possible with the support of ALCO Parking, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Q92.9 FM, Ole Smokey Distillery, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Yuengling Lager and Southern Tier Brewing.
