Downtown for the Holidays

Yesterday, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership held our annual press conference to announce plans for the upcoming 2018 Holiday Season in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Comcast Light Up Night® brings together people from every reach of our community. Every neighborhood, age group, religion, and race have been coming to Downtown Pittsburgh for generations on this one evening to be a part of something special: our amazing collective community.

We believe now, more than ever we need to come together, so today we are pleased to announce what we’ve developed with our partners to help create a season filled with love, joy, and unity.

Comcast #LUN2018 will feature five music stages including national acts A Great Big World and Elley Duhé, food vendors, interactive attractions, tree lightings, and plenty of fun for the entire family.

November 16 also marks the opening of the 7th Annual Peoples Gas Holiday Market.™ Wonderful shopping from a myriad of vendors, live entertainment, dazzling BNY Mellon Season of Lights, and Santa’s House! Holiday karaoke with a cash prize is back, too.

We also announced expanded, free KidsPlay programming in collaboration with Fred Rogers Productions and a host of community partners.
