Downtown Eateries Offering Delicious Holiday Meals for You to Bring Home

The holiday season is very out of the ordinary this year, and many of us are finding new ways to celebrate. Treat yourself to a new family tradition and let one of the pros cook you a delicious holiday meal. These Downtown restaurants and eateries are offering several takeout, make-at-home, and even patio dining options this year.

Celebrate at home with Fairmont Pittsburgh’s Christmas & New Year’s To-Go program. Christmas dinners start at $150, include a choice of herb-crusted rotisserie roasted pork loin or red wine braised short ribs along with soup, delectable side dishes and dessert. The New Year’s To-Go options start at $60 and feature delicious appetizers and more. Extra side dishes and desserts may also be ordered à la carte. Fairmont Pittsburgh is also featuring their Christmas & New Year’s in-room dining menu as a to-go option.  

Christmas orders must be placed by Monday, December 21 and picked up on Tuesday, December 23 between 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Wednesday, December 24 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  

New Year’s orders must be placed by December 28 at 3 p.m. and picked up on December 30 between 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. and December 31 between 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Enjoy an exclusive holiday meal on the Grand Concourse’s heated patio. The four-course meal will be available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve and is priced at $79 per person. The dinner includes a choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entrée and dessert. Reservations are strongly recommended. 

The Grand Concourse will also be offering their Holiday Party To-Go menu which features seafood boil packs and party meals for a minimum of 10 guests. Delivery and set-up options are available.

Order Holidays at Home from The Capital Grill for you and your family to enjoy. Get their 3 or 4 course dinner and holiday sides at home starting at $145. Just a few of the delicious finds include Kona crusted bone-in prime rib, lobster mac & cheese and a flourless chocolate espresso cake.

All orders must be placed by Monday, December 21 at 5 p.m. Delivery and curbside pick-up is available on December 22, 23, and 24.

Enjoy an elegant dinner at Home from Eddie V’s! Their “Holidays at Home” meal packages feature a Chilean Sea Bass Dinner, a Herb-Roasted Tenderloin with Au Jus Dinner or you can order a combination of both dinners. Dinners start at $150.

Fogo De Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is offering many meal options for the holidays. Order their Holiday To-Go Package, generously serving a group of 6, enjoy fire-roasted meat with sweet potato casserole, candy cane fudge brownies, and more. Pre-orders require at least 48-hour notice. All order must be received by Tuesday, December 22. For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, orders may be placed and picked up the same day.

Get a Prime Rib feast for four guests this holiday season from McCormick & Schmick’s. Starting at $135, get 3 lbs. Cooked Prime Rib, mixed green salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, sourdough bread & butter, and Au Jus & horseradish sauce. All items are heat and eat. 

Final order deadline is Monday, December 21 at 4 p.m.  Pick-up will be available on Thursday, December 24 between 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday, December 25 between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

They also have Christmas combo meals for families up to 12 that includes a fully cooked ham, Eddie’s sage dressing, sweet potato casserole and more. Bottles of wine can also be ordered to-go.
