Dive Deeper into the Heartbeat of Downtown with IndexPGH

We’re excited to be a part of the launch of IndexPGH, a new and innovative dashboard that provides data indicators and stories to offer a comprehensive and transparent picture of Downtown Pittsburgh, making it an essential tool for employers, employees, residents and visitors alike. 

The dashboard provides a wealth of authentic and up-to-date information that can be used to make informed decisions and support positive change. From economic trends to shifts in cultural event attendance, IndexPGH covers a broad range of indicators that are critical to understanding the current state of Downtown. 

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership joined Allegheny Conference, Allegheny County, City of Pittsburgh, and dozens of other public and private partners in Market Square on August 16, 2023, to launch IndexPGH. Free and available to the public, IndexPGH is for anyone who cares about the future of our region – employers, employees, residents and visitors.

An additional commitment of at least $2 million in corporate and philanthropic investments was also announced to support the continued revitalization of Downtown. This funding will aid in the expansion of cleaning and outreach services in key areas such as Market Square and Mellon Square, as well as the launch of a new public restroom pilot this fall.
