Out and About: Bae Bae’s Kitchen

Monday, October 9, 2017

Over this weekend, one of Downtown’s newest dining destinations, Bae Bae’s Kitchen opened. The owners of Bae Bae’s were gracious enough to give the staff of the PDP a early taste of the delicious food that will no doubt be tempting all of Downtown in no time flat. At its heart, a Korean BBQ, Bae Bae’s is bringing delicious, locally sourced Korean comfort food to a market that is definitely lacking in that type of food. Our staff had the opportunity to sample the mouth-watering Korean Fried Chicken, which many of us agreed was among the best fried chicken we’ve ever tasted. Additionally, we had amazing thinly sliced, flavorful beef. There also wasn’t a side dish in the several that we tried that weren’t standouts. Homemade kimchi, along with pickle kimchi, and Korean potato salad are just the beginning of what will be on the regular menu. Bae Bae’s, located at 951 Liberty Avenue currently is open for breakfast and lunch. Everyone at the PDP staff is pretty sure they will be getting to know us all on a first name basis!
