An Update on the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s Annual Meeting

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

In light of the recent shut-down recommended as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s 2020 Annual Meeting will be rescheduled for a later date.

The PDP continues to operate as usual, but we are requesting that all staff work from home in the interest of health and safety.  Our Clean & Outreach Teams are continuing operations to maintain the health and safety of the Downtown community, but we have taken steps to educate and inform them about proper safety practices and social distancing.

We still look forward to sharing our 2019 accomplishments and announcing our plans for the year ahead, but for now, our focus needs to remain steadfastly on supporting our small businesses and the overall safety and wellbeing of our community.

As mentioned in our prior notification, refunds for those that have registered are available as requested by contacting us here. Alternatively, your contribution will be put to good use in advancing our mission to create a vibrant and vital Downtown Pittsburgh through supporting our Clean & Outreach efforts, events, economic development work, mobility advocacy, and more.

Our Downtown retailerssmall businesses, and restaurants are particularly affected during this challenging time. Please join us in supporting them in alternate ways by shopping online, ordering take-out or delivery, and purchasing gift cards or gift certificates. We have also created new restaurant and small business guides available for you to reference their current operations and capabilities that will be regularly updated.

We again thank you for your interest and support of Downtown Pittsburgh and the PDP, and look forward to the bright future that lies ahead. In the meantime, please follow all announced health and safety recommendations.
