It’s official – a fourth day has been added to Picklesburgh!

With the first of many surprises that will be announced for this year’s Picklesburgh Festival, we are brining with excitement to announce that the City’s signature food event – Picklesburgh – will once again expand to accommodate the growing scale and popularity of this uniquely Pittsburgh tradition – adding an extra day for the community to relish!

Initially reported as taking place from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21, 2024, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership has now extended the run to include Thursday, July 18 due to the event’s increasing popularity.

Launched in 2015, Picklesburgh has emerged as one of Pittsburgh’s premiere events, and has been recognized by USA Today as #1 Best Specialty Food Festival in America three times and featured as a ‘Signature Event’ by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Tourism Office. It continues to attract both national and international attention.

Created by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and presented by Kraft Heinz, the event has grown every year since its launch, providing a valuable boost to the Downtown economy. 2023 saw a record-setting attendance of over 200K people, with as many people attending on Saturday as all three days combined in 2022! Notably, the festival drew larger crowds than both nights of Taylor Swift’s 2023 concerts at Acrisure Stadium, and more than 50k tourists traveled over 50 miles to participate in the pickle pandemonium. This year’s Thursday addition will hopefully give local fans a chance to get a jump on the fun and beat the weekend crowds.

🚨 VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

Interested vendors can apply here by April 22, 2024

Picklesburgh represents one of the most attended events of the year in Downtown Pittsburgh with crowds expected to surpass 200K people. With a newly extended timeframe, the event presents a high-visibility opportunity for small businesses to engage with customers and participate in one of the most unique Pittsburgh events of 2024.

More details about the 2024 festival will be announced over the coming months. Check out www.Picklesburgh.com for updates as they’re released.
