Out and About: Bridges & Bourbon

Monday, July 1, 2019

After an extensive renovation process, the wait was more than worth it. Now open on Penn Avenue in the former Seviche location, Bridges & Bourbon is creating art with its cocktail menu and upping the “wow” factor for your next happy hour or night out.

The first thing you’ll notice walking in is the decor. With a stunning atmosphere and no detail overlooked, the restaurant is elegant while still feeling welcoming and inviting. Once we sat down, we couldn’t help but look around and see what everyone else was ordering. From the unique glassware to drinks served in teapots with dry ice and the delicious smells from the kitchen, you can tell you’re in for a unique experience.

Our recommendation: try the Appalachian Trail, which has Wigle Rye, blackberry, smoked black tea, and is served on a tray with smoking cherry wood chips, or the Violet Hour, which mixes gin, Green Chartreuse, cucumber, and chamomile. Also, an order of the Truffle Popcorn for the table was the perfect compliment to the drinks.
