Wednesday, May 29, 2024

Kick off Pride Month in Downtown this weekend as the annual parade returns, followed by events and festivities throughout the month.

The weekend’s events will begin Friday, May 31, on the North Shore with Pgh Pride: Still We Rise Opening Celebration from 2-8 p.m. Featuring 30+ local artists and headlining performances by The First Ladies of Disco, and a special opening act by the #1 Beyonce’ impersonator in the USA Riley Knoxx.

Pride on the Shore also returns on Friday to Stage AE with Natasha Bedingfield, Keke Palmer, JoJo Siwa, Hannah Rad, and Kitty Glitter starting at 2 p.m.!

The Pride March + Parade Celebration will take place Saturday, June 1. All individuals are welcome to march as a united community in support of LGBTQ+ rights. No registration is required. Speakers will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the parade steps off at noon and ends at Allegheny Commons Park West, with the local performances featuring 40+ LGBTQIA+ artists starting at 2 p.m., headlined by Grammy-nominated power-house vocalist and television personality, Tamar Braxton.
