New Opportunity for Artists: Downtown Holiday Window Displays

Holiday windows in Downtown Pittsburgh have been a tradition for generations. This year, we’re seeking artists to team up with Downtown businesses for a new holiday window display competition that adds another way for the region to come together and experience socially-distanced, holiday-themed events in a safe way this season.

Participating Downtown businesses will be paired with the selected local artists to develop and implement the store-front displays. Artists will meet virtually with the business owners to discuss and develop a theme, procure supplies, and plan for the installation, with Downtown shoppers and visitors to vote on their favorite windows through the holiday season.

This opportunity is open to all artists living in Allegheny County, and a stipend is provided. Learn more.
