Brewing artisan roasts and boasting cool settings that get you out of the house, explore the coffee shops that are open in Downtown.

Creative Coffee & Supply | 309 Smithfield Street

Get your coffee fix at Creative Coffee & Supply. Located on the corner of Smithfield Street and Third Avenue, Creative Coffee serves artisan coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, smoothies, and more.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fort Pitt Coffee | 201 Smithfield Street

Tucked away in Downtown’s historic Firstside District, Fort Pitt Coffee offers a wide selection of coffees and teas, along with delicious baked goods.

Open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Gasoline Street Coffee Company | 643 First Avenue

Heading over to First Ave, Gasoline Street Coffee Company offers high-quality coffee roasts, espresso drinks, cold brew, matcha, an assortment of teas, and more.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Gloria Jean’s Coffee | 201 Smithfield Street

Located in The Pitt Building, Gloria Jean’s Coffee serves and sells a range of handcrafted espresso coffee drinks, signature chiller drinks, blended and flavored whole bean coffees.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Grind | 650 Smithfield Street

This small shop – one of the newest in Downtown – offers big taste in coffee, breakfast and lunch items, and outdoor seating.

Open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

La Prima Espresso Co. Downtown | 1100 Smallman Street

La Prima is a Strip District staple known for its hand-roasted coffees that opened a beautifully-designed Downtown outpost in the lobby of the AC Hotel, conveniently located near the Convention Center.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Nicholas Coffee & Tea Co. | 23 Market Square

Open since 1919, this historic spot is a Market Square favorite, offering hand-roasted coffee beans, artisan drinks to-go, and a variety of goods to brew the perfect cup at home.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Rock n’Joe Coffee | 524 Penn Avenue

Rock n’ Joe Coffee is a specialty coffee house located on Penn Avenue, Downtown. They offer a variety of crafted coffees, as well as an assortment of lunch and breakfast foods.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Starbucks | Multiple Locations

The popular national chain has two stores that have now reopened in Downtown. Visit them in Market Square and at 6th Street in the Cultural District.

Dunkin’ | Market Square

The Market Square location has now reopened, offering mobile ordering and takeout.
